The Featherlite Tether features our custom made Wild Line rope. This rope is constructed out of a 32 strand nylon sheath and a super strong lightweight dyneema core. The 32 strand outer sheath adds grip for friction hitches while keeping debris out of the core rope. The dyneema core gives the Featherlite Tether a huge advantage of having a double locking soft shackle on the end of the tether. This soft shackle gives you the ability to quickly and quietly disconnect to surpass limbs with ease. Making it a perfect back up tether as well.
This Tether comes with 2 different WLR Hitch options. The Basalt and the Basalt SS. The Basalt features a pure Technora rope with an eye at each end. The Technora is super strong and very heat resistant, which makes it an ideal friction hitch for making the WLR Hitch. 
The Basalt SS (soft shackle) is made with the same Technora as mentioned above, but features a double locking soft shackle. This allows you to leave those noisy carabiners at home and tie in directly to your harness/saddle.
